Never mix cleaning products (ammonia, phosphoric acid, etc.) with bleach.
In some cases, stubborn stains will require reapplying cleaners until the desired level of cleanliness is achieved.
lt is best to clean bio-based staining agents, such as bird droppings, as soon as you notice them to avoid the natural tannins from staining the deck, which will require more vigorous cleaning.
MAINTENANCE
Cleaning composite decking twice a year , usually in spring and autumn. This is quick and easy to do, requiring just a hose, a soft brush and a bucket of soapy water or a pressure washing water gun .
Begin by weeping dirt and debris on the decking and cleaning up spills from leaves, foods, oils and wine. Never use harsh bristle or metal wire, it will scratch and damage the deck’s surface.
If necessary, use mild soap and warm water with a nylon scrub brush to gently remove grime and stubborn spots.
Pressure wash your composite deck as needed to remove built-up grime. Use with care as pressure washing in too much pressure can cause irreversible damage to composite decking.
